It is the official date when Scrumpy started to walk. Sure, there was the occasional step here and there, but now it is deliberate. He toddles with purpose! Arms out for balance, he is reminiscent of a drunk man. But have no fear, as the days passed, he went from just a few steps to the couch to full on, break, neck toddling! Another milestone has come and gone and with that new adventures, namely, buying his first pair of walking shoes.

Scrumpy picked out these himself. Blue and white and orthopedically sound!
In fact, he loved the sample shoe so much, he refused to relinquish the shoe until the saleslady gave him something better...balloon! Trendsetter that he was, he then set a chain reaction in the shoe department of all stroller clamoring for a balloon.
We saw this as our cue to exit stage left.
